What is our
The Reduced-Rate Service at 5th Avenue Counselling offers a more affordable option for the community of Harlow, Chelmsford
and surrounding areas.
Our Reduced-Rate service is based in all of our
3 locations: The Latton Bush Centre (Harlow), Moulsham Mill (Chelmsford) and King's Court (Stevenage).
Sessions are 50 minutes long. The service is provided by capable counsellors who are working towards further qualifications at Epping Forest College and other prestigious institutions.

Dave is in his 4th and final year of study to become a qualified Person Centred Counsellor. For the last 10 years he has worked within the Construction Trade, following 8 years within the Education Sector.
Vicki is currently completing her 4th and final year of an Integrative Therapeutic Counselling Diploma, after working for 10 years as a Youth Work Team Leader. She also volunteers at Southend Carers and has an interest in alternative therapies such as massage.
Karen is studying for a further qualification in Person-Centred Counselling. She currently works as a ChildLine counsellor and has her own Hypnotherapy practice. In a previous life she worked in the City for many years as a Derivatives Structurer.
Helen is in her final year of her Level 4 CPCAB Counselling Diploma. She has already completed her BACP Level 4 Counselling Children training and will soon be working part-time for the CAMHS Team within the NHS. Prior to her counselling training, Helen worked as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist.
